Have you heard of "Bate's Sight without glasses" theory? Its all about how you don't need glasses to see..because eyes are supposed to be a part of your body and can heal itself that doesn't need to be controlled by glasses to focus. Bate says that glasses worsen your condition because they keep your eyes in need of glasses. So if you do the relaxation methods that Bate's suggest they really work...and even if you do not believe its true you can try his methods anyway to relax your eyes from stress.

One day at youth group I thought of this analogy:

Imagine you are playing "The Sims". You created this nice place for them and you gave them personalities. But in this scenario you can allow free will, so you do so. The Sims however, after receiving this free will, use it on one another and end up in fights and wars. The nice place you created becomes damaged and destroyed, most of your 'creation' have become rebellious and some have died.

Now if I were playing, I'd give up and start a new game. But God is different. He, like "The Sims" 's creator, created us. He made everything perfect for us, but we chose to destroy it. However, instead of starting a new one he feels sorry for us and 'jumped' in the 'game' with us. The result is: he got Killed by us, his own creation. Now, if you were "The Sims"'s creator would you jump in, knowing you were going to be killed by your creation? No, even if we could we wouldn't jump in to save these "digitally created" characters and be killed by them.

But God showed his love.....And he wanted to put his anger on his son (by sacrificing him) and show us he exists...He rose again on the third day to prove that he was the Son of God and presented himself to many people hoping now, they would believe him and follow him... But no... people made up things about how he couldn't have died or how his body was stolen from the tomb, even some guards got paid money to keep their mouths shut.

Its a sad world...

Some people don't believe cos it just doesn't sound real, that its all made up, that its something some 'group of people' got together to "lets make up a god and all these rules ..yeh" But
Seriously.. Who would make up things like this and
Die
for it knowing it was a lie?

One reason why its so hard to
believe because nothing like this happened before, so people just dismiss it

it is Even more reason to believe!! because if Jesus Really is the Son of God,
then Of Course it has to be something out of the ordinary! something only God
would do! DIE For US!

suck! You Are NOTHING, you can Do Nothing"

The fact that all of his disciples Got KILLED, except for John, because they kept insisting that the bible was true. Who would Die for such a thing if it were a LIE? Even We wouldn't die for the truth these days, which showed how faithful his disciples were.

SO.....What do you think Now? The stuff is just all there in the Bible and there's evidence if you look for it.

It's interesting how a small little comment or action can stick in your mind forever, no matter who that person is, close or not, they somehow affect your life. like for example: my friend commented on the song "I'm a genie in a bottle" 2 years ago, - she said she thought the lyrics were "come come lemeow" instead of "come, come let me out"- so every time I hear that song I remember what she said.. I know its not a really good e.g. but I hope u get what I mean. It kinda feels good to know that something you said is in someone's mind forever isn't it?

Sometimes I think children should be protected from violent and horror movies, but not so much from family and friendship movies, or shows that are real and not always about sex all the time.
Children are always exposed, even under a guardian, to violent and horror - even if the guardian is there doesn't really do anything to tell the kid that its not true and assure that it wont happen.
My experience showed that it was bad...

When I was in yr 2 or 3 I watched Terminator II and Werewolf.. After watching it and even though a guardian was there and in broad daylight, I kept thinking a terminator would come out of the ground or wall. So whenever I go to the bathroom or shower I would keep looking around to see if anything came out. At night I would check my hands and my brother's to see if there was a red circle mark - which indicates that I was going to turn into a werewolf at night. I would keep imagining what would happen if I was turned into a werewolf. I think it freaked me out for weeks.

It's so weird we live in a world where we can't speak directly and express one's opinion and feelings without hurting someone or causing that person to feel guilty of what has been said or being too criticising, impolite, putting down, etc; feeling what you've said could affect people's perspective of you or you could be rejected, be the odd one out; without causing a possible argument, without thinking about it carefully, that you wish the other person/s could understand fully what you've said without questioning or creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. You/one would think the world is corrupted as everyone is so selfish. Of course there's the saying "If everyone in the world put others before themselves and thought of themselves as inferior to everyone else then the world would be perfect". Just like WWJD, If everyone behaved like Jesus it would be heaven. Really, what Does it take for the world to do such a thing? I guess its hard to think for yourself sometimes. But the answer is just there...

I know its not my position to tell everyone what to do because I haven't fully done it yet, but am trying; I have often thought of only myself. I realise that because of my selfish desires God has so much Wrath..Mine adding to the already bulging mass of selfish pride and negative energy.

Man had turned away from God and that is called sin. I had once been like that. But Jesus- The ONLY son of God had Died for us - (Imagine someone dying for you! Jesus died for you even though you were his Enemy!) - for the sins of the world! For our sins of what was and am doing and will do. This has made us perfect in God's eyes that whoever believes in Him shall be written down as "never rebelled from God" and He promises us in the Bible, that he will provide a "new heaven and new earth".

Sometimes i think that left-handers maybe more creative than right.. I've read that the right brain controls the left had and that is the side of creativity. I have also observed the left-handers as people who are good at remembering things graphically, they also have an interesting style of handwriting...hehe

When I was in my earlier high school years, my friend said I made a theory about how, when people stay together for a long period of time they start to share each other's personality cos they shared their "atoms". Its funny at that age..Now I think of it not as sharing 'atoms' but just the fact that people get used to one another's habits and start to behave like them. I have observed this to be true with many people.

Parents are such a big influence in life, I find myself copying their bad habits and wanting to do things because of the 'atmosphere' they have caused. For example I will put a diary entry here:

20/5/03"...ive been distancing myself so much that I have Never thought about myself and marriage. I mean I have seen all these movies and love(kinda) all the cool/cute/sweet romantic stories, relationships and stuff…but in the end its just …I am simply an Observer(i like to observe)…hehe I never Really imagined myself in such a situation..how weird.. like im scared of it or sth…(maybe cos I see the corrupted world and my parents’ marriage)"

And also the fact that I want to understand people more and interested in psychology is partly cos of that reason...-> the way they relate to us and each other...

Sigh......but it is good-> psych is interesting...
